The Musica Silvestra Orkest (MSO) is the student symphony orchestra of the University of Twente. Each year two programmes are studied and concluded with concerts led by their passionate conductor Peter Bogaert. The orchestra performs various kinds of programmes, ranging from symphonies and overtures to film and pop music. Additionally, the orchestra frequently accompanies choirs and soloists.

The orchestra rehearses every Monday evening from 20.00h till 22:30h in the Agora of the Vrijhof. Next to these weekly rehearsals, a rehearsal weekend is planned at an external location.
